Oil separator

I have the oil separator that came with my 1LE sitting in the trunk. It's been there about two weeks. My question despite it saying its for track use only should I install it and run it daily as my car Is my dd? Or should I just hold off until I get the rx catch can?

I have the factory one installed now and will also add the RX can when it finally comes in. Several people are running both at the same time.

Use both

Use both. It does not need to be emptied as it allows the oil to drip back into the valve cover wehn shut off, this oil is not contaminated like the dirty side oil is as thayt should never be returned to the crankcase.

I have both installed. My only slight concern in the tube running from the cai to the oil separator can rub against the upper barb on my catch can. Not sure if it'll wear or not, or I could move the can down a bit but I really don't want to keep working the pulley bolt. I chose the elite can since it seemed easier/cleaner to empty.
