Being picky with my car cost me chance to meet future Hall of famer
 

This past Wednesday I took my wife to Starbucks located outside my local mall. I decided to let the wife get coffee for for both of us as the parking lot was full of cars pulling in and out. When she gets back, she mentions that some famous ball player was in there with his wife taking photos with a few fans. She points over to a bad a$$ white SUV and says, “oh that’s him pulling out right over there.” TURNS OUT TO BE MIKE TROUT!! :sad0147: He lives in this area during the off season and I always seem to miss him. I’ve been dying to meet him since he Broke into the big leagues a few years back. Really nice guy too. Had I known he was in the Starbucks, I would’ve driven up on the curb, jumped out of the car with it still in gear, and left the door wide open. I asked my wife why she didn’t ask for an autograph? She says she didn’t want to bother him. SERIOUSLY!! :frusty:

My son had a baseball camp over winter break. Jared Miller (dbacks pitcher) and Tucker Barnhart (reds gold glove catcher) showed up to help with the camp. Both are local (central Indiana) guys. Photo of my son getting his autograph and listening to Jared about pitching
