As for straight line or track; I like the fact you can do both easily with this z/28 :headbang: Edit: You beat me too it Camaro_Corvette hahaha |
|
I can see it matching the ZL1 price. The Z28 and ZL1 are so different, there isn't any reason to not price them in the same range.
|
I will guess $61,995 before dealer mark ups.
|
Well now that Gm has said it will be the most expensive Camaro and in another post I was hoping for a 47 to 51 price range I'm going to revise that to 63 to 67k and prolly worth every penny but ill never be able to afford one with out a lotto win so I'm going to go cry in the corner now ='(
|
More than a ZL1? No way. If so Ill take the ZL1.
More than a Corvette? With a 450 hp LT1? Ill take the Corvette. The new stingray is way cooler than a Z28, chicks underwear practically fall off by themselves for Corvettes :-). 20k more than an SS? Ill take the 1LE, put a blower on it and still have $10k left for a 2 week trip to Bora Bora. This car is cool BUT not that $$$$$ cool. JMO. |
The Z28 looks great...except for the hood extractor. But as awesome as it is I can't see them with a sticker for less than 70k-75k base price...too many expensive upgrades on the car. And with the way the ZL1 handles, and this is lighter with what might be better shocks. I don't see anything close to its price range competing with it. Too good of a suspension, better engine than the ZL1 for track days and lighter better everything.

For all the people guessing in the 40s, $49k was debunked by the father in a different thread. My guess, $71,385, no options after GG tax.

well are you going to get a 2013 1LE or wait.... |
Guessing $59K plus destination, gas guzzler tax, and stealership markups of $10K or more. This will be a low production model. The Wixom Engine Plant where the LS7 is hand assembled reportedly only has the capacity to build 20,000 LS7s per year. Unlikely that Wixom would increase LS7 capacity as the LS7 maybe has 1 or 2 years left of being in production. That potenitally means there would only be 20,000 to 40,000 total Z/28s built in 2014 and 2015.
Z/28s are likely to cost around $80K out to door. |
