Drive your Camaro!

I hope you guys actually drive your camaro's. Nothing more annoying than seeing 20,000+ cars sold (GT500) and never seein them on the streets (i've seen 2). Or like some of the weenie 03-04 Cobra guys who grarage their cars and only drive < 3,000 miles a year, never enjoying their cars. Why even own it at that point? Except for some very few exceptions, they are just depreciating assets.

don't be weenie's, DRIVE YOUR CARS!

It will be my daily driver. So i have to.

kunkelz28 03-28-2009 04:45 PM

I am hoping to keep it to 2-3k miles a year, this is a car i plan on never selling. I will be buying a used 4th gen this summer for the burning of tires and whatnot. Plus i have a Grand prix GTP and a truck so I don't put many miles on any of my cars ( i only live 4 miles from work)

Yeah, I gotta agree big time, just don't see the point. I drive my C5 Z06 everyday, enjoy it to the fullest, it's great! So many of the Corvette crowd are "waxers" just drive it 10 miles on the weekend or whatever, and complain about the smallest of cosmetic blemishes and whatnot. GM went through the painstaking process of testing the Camaro, and Corvette in all kinds of endurance tests, speed tests etc - it's meant to be driven and driven like you mean it. Then again, if I could afford to do it a la J. Leno, I'd have a special storage garage, and archive all my favs for posterity. But back in the real world I'll just DRIVE... :chevy:

Scott@Bjorn3D 03-28-2009 05:11 PM

Daily driver.

+1 Daily Driver 2SS

PQ 03-28-2009 05:18 PM

Every other day driver.

Scott, left you a phone message.

Redwolf20 03-28-2009 05:18 PM

Daily driver for me as well.

Don't worry Evil Twin, I believe a lot of us will make you proud :)

Amelia98 03-28-2009 05:21 PM

I will treat it like my motorcycle and take it out for long drives on Sunny days. Everyday driving just increases the chances of me getting:
-a speeding ticket
-an ahole driver wrecking into it
-permagrin

Will only be able to afford the Camaro for a few years, so hells yeah it will be driven!

b4z 03-28-2009 05:23 PM

I drive my GTO less than 6K a year. I'm a bad person.LOL

Amen to that. My Z 06 now has 90k miles on it. They are to be driven. They will get scars...thats life..but they will be fun. I just saw a 04 Z 06 for sale with 1200 miles on it..guy was trading to a C6 Z 06...why so it can sit in the garage too?

Drive em!

dyonick 03-28-2009 05:26 PM

Definitely a daily driver! What better way to enjoy it then to drive it.

VenomZ302 03-28-2009 05:40 PM

My 2SS'll be a daily driver, though I would like to keep the mileage low. Ideally I'd like to keep this car "forever", so we'll see what happens.
