Second cat delete exhaust noise

Just recently had a shop remove my second cats on my 2020 camaro ss. Shop screwed it up the first time (exhaust leak/hissing noise, engine light,) and had to take it back for them to fix it. They fixed it, said it sealed and checked for exhaust leaks, but still have a weird "hissing noise". I sent them a video (dont know how to attach video) explaining the sound but they said it's normal engine noise. Just trying to find out if it truly is engine noise or another exhaust Leak. Anyone else with second cat delete with this noise?

I was fortunate enuff to grab a Borla bolt-on 2nd cat delete X-pipe (no longer available) and there is no hiss with a 2nd cat being gone.

I'd get a 2nd (no pun intended) opinion.

I never noticed any hiss on mine after the delete

I'm late to the party but why did Borla discontinue this part? was it failure related or emission related? Seems like there is still a market for it.

It's emissions related. Corsa also stopped offering the secondary cat delete pipe.

Sounds like a botched job just take it somewhere else and have them fix it if they claim nothing is wrong some people suck at customer service.

Sorry for not updating been a hectic schedule. I took the car somewhere else and truly saw how bad the first shop did (borderline dangerous). I'll post the pictures of the before and after. I'm in the process of getting a refund and the car sounds amazing now! Thanks for the help! Made my decision to go with someone else easy!

Looks great now. I've dealt with hackjobs from previous owners on cars before. Not fun. Glad you got it fixed up.

OMG, LOL funny if it weren't so sad! Can you say "amateur" welder?

Good ear for picking up that "hiss"!

Looks like they either ran out of gas and switched to flux core wire (even if your a "good" welder flux core will always look like crap) or like someone else said they just had no idea what they were doing.

Besides that how did it sound after (when it was done properly of course) compared to stock? or was it stock before? NPP?

I did mine a couple weeks ago. Its not a lot louder, but a nice increase in sound a bit deeper tone.
