Oil Change

Not a rant this time....good news. First oil change was to the top of the line castrol synthetic the guy recommended. It seemed ok until I used the mobil 1 synthetic this time. Cars seems to run alot better, even sounds deeper. More responsive and better mileage. What is your favorite oil so far?

I go between Royal Purple or Mobile 1. Depends on what's cheaper at the time. If they're both the same price I go with Royal Purple.

Mobil 1 :headbang:

I wouldn't lube my rat traps with either.

I like AMS oil signature 5-30 for the L99 and Valvoline Vr-1 20/50 for the 4thgen's stroker.

Mobil 1 (Mobile is a city:bellyroll:) for now but I am seriously considering a jump to Pennzoil Platinum. It's getting great reviews and people who have used it on the SS are claiming it stops the lifter noise.

Mobil1 as well.
love it.
and yes it did seem to wake up the motor a little after dropping the break in oil.

Mobil 1 or Royal Purple for moi. Just an FYI OP, after you use full synthetic, there is no going back to that cheap stuff :)

hmm jiffy lube changed my oil with Pennzoil platinum and so far my car has been running well.

I'll probably change my own oil next time to save $

Lmao
It really lubed his muffler bearings and woke up the motor! His butt dyno proves it.
