DeLorean DMC-12
As Seen In: Back to the Future Part I, Part II and Part III

Key Technical Specs: Goes from 1985 to 1955 in under three seconds.

Before Doc Brown's breakthrough mod -- the flux capacitor -- the iconic DeLorean DMC-12 was the "it" car for movie producers, record execs and other dirtbags. But this car is capable of so much more. Not only can you impress the ladies along the Sunset Strip, but you can also outrun terrorists, thwart high school bullies, and resolve oedipal issues.

Wayne Industries Tumblera/k/a The Batmobile

Key Technical Specs: Chevy 5.7-liter V-8 engine; genuinely frightening to see in your rear-view mirror.

It's the latest vehicle from Wayne Industries' lead engineer, Lucius Fox. This ride will shock and awe any evil-doer into submission.

This pine green hunk of steel and attitude gets more air time than Michael Jordan in a shoe ad. It is the ride for running a Dodge Charger filled with mafia hit men off the road. This car has proven to be so iconic that 40 years later Ford has revived its look and feel for the 2008 Bullitt Mustang.

You have got to be kidding. That isn't even close.....

Georgianne 03-28-2008 03:46 PM

I think it is great- Put a smile on my face and I've had a really bad week!

SSNIGHTMARE 03-28-2008 03:46 PM

Where's Elanor (spell)

balonywolf 03-28-2008 04:37 PM

Eleanor does not belong on the list. Bullitt's car does.

If they're going to put Herbie on there, it should be from the old school Herbie movies.

The Nissan 350Z does not belong on that list.

The car in Casino Royale was not a 1963, but a 1964.

CamaroSpike23 03-28-2008 05:45 PM

who the hell wrote this up?

they didnt even list the "Wraith" or "Christine"

hell, a car that can come back to life after destroying other cars and itself should be worthy

what about the Mad Max car?

or Bandit 1?

or the trans am from cannonball run?

DGthe3 03-28-2008 09:12 PM

Thats pretty bad. The General Lee wasn't on there either. Most of the movies are new but most of the coolest cars are in older movies.

Emher 03-29-2008 10:21 AM
