1" dropped 1LE

Well my Eibach lowering springs came in and I had them installed at work. I ran these on my '12 after having the clunking issues with Pfadt and them denying it was their springs. Long story short they gave me a partial refund, then came on the forum publicly and announced they had a fix for their issue.

My Eibach springs on my '12 were a good combination of drop and hardly any scrape. Not to mention Eibach springs have a 1 million mile warranty and are real inexpensive. If you order them through autoanything.com they have free shipping and 15% OFF for 1st time users. I took advantage of that plus their already Low Low price.:D
Here is the only pic I have.....not that great but gives you an idea.

EDIT: here is the before pic

I like the 1" drop! I've go a set of BMR 1" spring to get installed one of these days...... Had a set of SLP springs on my 45th and they worked great too. 1" is for sure my preference.

Looks good and yes, more pics!!

Why would anyone take 1le springs off and install some one fits all springs.

My understanding is that 1LE springs are standard SS springs for an FE6 suspension.

Personally I'm going to use some Pedders springs on mine.

Looks good. I would like to drop mine but I would have to sell our house, it scrapes coming and going. hmm...sell the house, buy less expensive, buy mods. The things we do for our toys.

better side picture when you get a chance and which specific ones did you get?

i like the warranty.. and the discount doesn't sound bad.

when you can , thanks!

I do need to get some more pics of it but it's been overcast for days here in Houston. I edited the first post to try and give you guys an idea of before. I could make a fist and stand it upright on the top of my tire and it would fit in the fenderwell before. Now it's much better.

1LE springs are not 1LE specific. They are identical to SS springs. 1LE sway bars and shocks are specific. I asked Pete with Pedders about lowering the 1LE and he said it's fine because the suspension geometry is identical to the SS as well.

Got rid of that 4x4 stance and some body roll too.

Are you folks just dropping the rear 1 inch or all the way around?

I would loved to have gone pedders but for half as much $$ I went Eibach. I really appreciate all the suspension input and how involved pedders is in the suspension section but holy hell their stuff is primo $$:D

I can appreciate that.

I've probably dropped 10+ cars 4 of them being mine and the one thing I've figured out is you want to make sure the guy who made your springs is on the up and up. Eibach is good stuff you can't go wrong. I'm just planning on doing things the way Pedders prescribes. They seem to have the best grasp of the suspension on these cars.

My only gripe is that everything they make is RED. LoL
