Nice TonyNo I did the same thing with my FJ Cruiser. Plan to do the same with my Camaro as soon as I can get some money for mods again LOL.

good job, kits are probably nice, but a good DIY write up like your footwell light ones, would be just as good!

This version requires drilling into the door panel. If you are up for that, it's easy!

Just wire-up two LED's with resistors (my LED's used 2.2K ohms), pull the door panel, connect it to the window-switch lighting wires (yellow and black), drill a 3/16" hole in the top of the handle well, insert the LED, and remount the door panel. Easy-peasy!

If there is enough interest, I could put some kits together.

Hey TonyNo, what is the part number for the LEDs, and where did you get them as that matches the blue lights of the interior perfectly?

Hello tonyno, anymore info on this? I just purchase some red led's complete with built in resistor n housing at radioshack, Im going red as i just ordered all the parts to do the ABL dash mod in red and also changing the door led's from blue to red. I will post as soon as I get it done to le u know how it comes out. Awesome idea.

Ones you pull the door panel off add some LED's in to the storage opining in the panel at the same time.:)
