We recommend and install QTP electric cutouts, they get installed after the cats so you will not get any codes and no tuning is required.

The only benefit you will get is noise, there is no performance to be gained.

Ted.

I went with noweeds. It is a great system and sounds awesome with zero issues but it is just for noise. I actually lost 5whp untuned and I am awaiting to see how it does tunes with S/C. But everyone that has commented loves the sound and it gets alot of attention. I still prefer diverters over exhaust due to how quite it is when they are closed.

because i am not putting a new exaust system on right now,i am going old school and weld pipes on my stock exaust with screw on caps.not ready for the $1,000 electric unit just yet.you do have me wondering if i uncap them at the strip,if i am going to lose some HP.i've never heard of that before.

Actually the units are pretty cheap
qtp are 369.00 +shipping
Dmh are 399.00 shipped and
noweeds are a lil higher 599.00
and ofcourse install bout 150.00-250.00
so very affordable I'd say

Where can you get noweeds for 599.00?

I have Noweeds and it is an awesome set-up.
Top quality,no code throws as they are after Cats.
People dont really notice you until you run diverters Fully open, then they look!!!

I would say noweeds at 599.00 is non existant cheapest you may get them and probably used would be around 800 just by themselves and then install on top of that. I lost 5 HP and 4ftlbs of torque just bolting them on and opening them vs with them closed. That doesnt mean that once the car is tuned that will be the case or it could be worse and that is with headers. With headers and cutouts right behind the headers you loose backpressure which is ok but it will result in a little lower power so I just learned. Ill keep ya posted on what it does on the dyno after my s/c and CAI install.
