Stainless Works ZL-1 exhaust installed!
Sounds amazing with high-flow cats and stock manifolds but I have long tubes ready to install.
The drivers side pair of tips is a little off though. The inside tip is hanging a little lower than it should and it can't be moved :pout:It's kind of pissing me off. I emailed SW and they basically told me that the hanger was probably bent in shipping (the shipping box was perfect) that I need to take it off and re-bend the hangers. http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c4...ps170dfed0.jpg |
That sucks your tips are a little off. I concur with you, sounds amazing. I got this catback, SW headers, and Night Fury Cam installed today...unreal.

This isn't the first time I've read that the tips don't line up. I should have mine in a few weeks, I'm curious to see how they fit.

If the cat-back has a crappy fit, I bet the headers are trash. |

Quite sure Corsa would be a great option. |

Why not just have a exhaust shop straighten the tips out? It would only set you back a few bucks. I know you "shouldn't" have to go through that route but let's be realistic here, they are aftermarket parts so it should be expected. The most expensive headers and exhaust have fitment problems from to time as well. Hell, even oem parts don't come perfect, we all know this.

I've been modifying and working on cars for many many years and I know parts don't fit perfectly but the fitment usually gets better as the price goes up. Not in this case I guess. |
This actually scares me with the SW system. I'm considering going with a full Kooks system now...
