Z/28 will be $69,000 (rumor)
According to my Service manager, whom i know and trust, the price on the Z/28 will be $69,000

Something I've learned...C5 learns things wayyy before individual dealers do...so, I will wait for GM to tell us :D
|
That's a bargain.

lol

Becky, or anyone who can answer this. Have they announced how many they intend to build? If it is very low volume, it seems all this discussion about MSRP may be moot to the average Joe.

No announcements have been made ... Regarding pricing or production.... |
Look up ZO6 with ZO7 package that will give you an idea of price!!!

My dealer told me $64,485. Also told me my blinker fluid was low and my muffler bearings needed adjusting. Also does anyone know what a duofluctometer is? Apparently mine's in need of replacing.

Just like the hot girl at spring break who said she was clean.......

I work at a Chevy dealer...I know nothing yet! I will say it's a good guess, but definitely not confirmed:bonk:
|
69k well that must come with lifetime replacement of the front splitter for everytime you park and break it...............................Like the cleft chin on a baby.
|
Too high! 69-70k out the door. 60-65k MSRP. Leaning more towards 60-62k
If MSRP is 69, it's not worth having you're dealer gave you a phony number in accordance with the year the retro is after. 69 being the year. Stop trusting him because he's going to start selling you wooden nickels at a premium ;) |
They do not know the pricing yet but that probably isn't far off. There are some high dollar parts on that car and I think a lot of folks will be surprised when they do announce the pricing.
|
If its $69k they can expect to sell maybe 10 or 20 of them a year. Most are waiting to see what the 6Gen looks like before dumping $70k in a camaro with no A/C.:bonk:
|
I know for a factor that the OP is wrong and so is his dealer. It will be $62,548.23 base price. I know this because I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
|
Why spend 69k when a ZL1 is $54k:pout:?

so we will never see one on the road then

Your Service Manager needs to act like a MANAGER and stop spreading gossip & speculation... and just focus on honest customer service on the current vehicles on hand.

Im sure this will be 60k but i could see them selling it for 45-50 and be a profitable car |

So with that, I'm out of the pool. Going to look for something else or buy a new 5th Gen and the mod the heck out of it. |

I think the price will be as high as said in the OP i hope not but the brakes are over 10K by them self add the the newer rear end gears, 305 on all corners and that LS7 we all want and the new seats, and its a 40K in new parts if not more. so add that to a stock SS and lets see if its not at 75K+ car.
|
Yup I'm guessing that car will msrp in the upper 60s.
|
84000 you heard it here first!!! Dealer markup 99000!!!!
|
Can't beat 69k for a stripped Camaro.
|
Crazy, especially due to the fact that its 160 hp down from the gt500 (even though its n/a). Chevy has to be careful with this one. You can only spread hype so far....
