S369sxe or 400sx or keep with turbonitics

Okay guys I'm doing my revamp to my Camaro and I checked my in and out shaft play after 2 years and it's bad on my Turbonetics turbo that came with my kit for my 5th gen. I need some advice from all you turbo guys... should I stay with turbinado X and just get the same turbo agine or go some where else.. I like their three 369 sxe series from Borg Warner but I'm afraid it's going to run out of steam too early. Can I get any advice from anybody? I don't know what Borg Warner turbo to get also I don't know if they we even fit with my piping. I mean should I take another gamble with Turbonetics and hopefully the last more than 2 years again??..i need help I'm basically looking for a Borg Warner turbo that's going to fit my setup but I don't know which one to go with

How much power are you looking to make
Alot of the Borg turbos are bigger physically in size and may not be direct bolt on
A 76/75 will bolt right in and make 700+ pretty easily

I'd suggest the "stage 2" Billet 75/75 that is what I ran and it made a huge difference.
I maxed out my 76/68 at 650rwhp at the same boost level with the 75/75 I made 752rwhp...

No Borg Warner that flows correctly for a V8, is going to fit your piping. Single 3" exhaust is less flow than stock. Un-cork it best you can will help a lot with any size turbo.

So if I don't want to modify im stuck with Turbonetics basically and I'm sorry about my first post I didn't even proof read anything I was talking to my phone from my car... I guess I'm going to get the upgraded one because I am looking for 750 rear wheel horsepower. Thanks everyone

There are multiple versions of the 76/75 turbo that may work for you
Turbonectics, comp turbo, precision and other budget or "eBay" companies make similar versions of the 76/75
Need to be T4 turbo flange with the same size downpipe flange (3" vband? ) And compressor outlet to connect to intercooler piping (3"?)

I said screw it I went ahead and ordered the 475 sxe the one with the new 360 thrust bearing. I ordered all the flanges I need and all the reducers I need with gaskets oil lines... you name it.. all I need now is to do the elbow grease and modify stuff in my engine bay for this turbo to fit. After reading so many stories about my current turbo and the turbos I was looking at not having enough steam through all the upper RPMs I decide to go with something that's proven throughout all the RPM range. Even upgrading my rocker arms to comp roller rockers.

That turbo is not going to even come close to fitting. It's HUGE.
If you want to really step it up, maybe just sell that system complete before you hack it up, and go twins.

So by elbow grease, you mean a welder and various tools to cut up, fabricate and weld to make that thing fit right...

I made 800+ on basically the same turbo, T4 76/75, you could have literally just bolted on with no extra work at all

Is the Turbonetics kit not some craziness to accommodate CARB etc ? With all emissions controls still in place ?

Or do they do a different kit ?

Really...make life simple and go twins.

The piping on that kit kills it.

Im with agp on this one.

Svc since you have had both kits, maybe you can give some in sights to pros and cons to the op switching to a twin kit vs what je has now

seriously to fit a turbo that big you will have to hack the hell out of your car.... ask me how I know
