Build Your Own Camaro Spreadsheet
 

Made an Excel spreadsheet that does all the pricing/options stuffs for the camaro - my solution to the slightly confusing pricing spreadsheet (not that I'm not grateful for it of course). Basically it's the exact same this as the "Build Your Own" page on the Chevrolet website - minus the fancy graphics and rotating image. It's a macro-enabled Excel spreadsheet with Options/check boxes that gave you your 2014 order total.

It's not a virus by the way - just you know, in case people weren't clicking it for that reason.

I'm using MO 2007 and it's not allowing me to select any features. :iono:

Edit: nevermind, it was asking me if it wanted to enable the content first, it was in bar area above the tables, so I didn't notice it at first. :doh: :lol:

So you got it to work then? Thoughts?

FYI: Base model price for 2SS is way off. :dizzy: It's listing at $41855 :faint:

Huh? In the screenshot it's showing as 36 thousand and change? Do you maybe have "convertible" selected?

How about adding on the other columns what the price would be for invoice, GMPP, etc.? Overall, it's a fairly easy and straightforward application to see what you can expect with options added on. Great job RJ, :headbang:

Probably should also add the Gas Guzzler Tax rates for the ZL1.

and the additional costs for metallic paints.;)

Do-able, but might take a little while as I have to look up all the different costs of stuff. Probably can do it today or tomorrow.

Uploaded a new version that includes color options (as well as the extra cost for BY and CRM). The extra paint cost gets added to the "Options Subtotal"

Updated the sheet to include gas guzzler tax on the ZL1 - there's still a glitch where it doesn't always update the GG tax after you click the automatic option, to refresh it you just need to switch base models and then go back to whichever ZL1 you had clicked.
