Manual or Automatic Transmission w/ your V6??

Hey guys,

Just wondering what you guys ordered with your new camaro, the auto w/ tapshift or just the 6 speed manual. pros and cons on both?

I ordered a 2LT RS w/ the auto tapshift.

The main con the auto V6'ers bitch about is that there no Limited Slip Differential

That's the only con I see, the V6 Camaro is a marvel

No LSD on the auto V6.

Im gettin the good old manual its just funner to drive to me and if it ever came down to a race much much better (that is if you know how to drive)

I'll be getting the manual, but both are good.

gearing in the auto is designed for mpg, not mph, unfortunately. still cool though.

At first I was leaning towards a manual, but if I turn my current daily driver into a manual than I think I will get my camaro in automatic. I like the idea of the tap shift, better mileage, and above all the remote start. But the down side is no factory LSD:(

does the 2LT RS automatic transmission come with a factory installed remote start? or is that an add on option??

when i get mine i have to get an auto because my wife want's to use it and she can't drive standard.

bluch: It is an option, with the convenience and connectivity package, which also gives you bluetooth and steering wheel mounted audio controls. note that remote start is an auto-only option.

Kind of true. All items from the C&C are standard on 2LT, which is the trim he was asking about. On a 1LT you would be 100% correct though. And yes, 2LT comes with remote start too, if you get an auto.

if you want a manual, teach her how to drive one. that way, you both get what you want!

Limited slip is overrated in my opinion... I have had both and to tell the truth i would rather drive a car without LSD...
But that is just my opinion.
