I have the DM VT axleback on my L99 but don't have any vids or soundclips. I can tell you my opinion on it if you like. I do like it very much but I never wanted something that sounded like a NASCAR. I will confirm that there is absolutely zero drone.

We have a ton of video up on our site and while its nice for an idea... you can't even fully go off of that either. Sounds clips will never capture the bass of a v8 right imo.

Here is a vid I posted a while back from super chevy. I don't understand why they cruised at 70 mph in third gear but it is what it is. The sound is ok in the clip. I can say that it's gotten louder the longer it's been on. I've had it for about a month now.

AXIS SO FOR EXAMPLE WHEN YOU CRUSE ABOUT 65-80 MPH DO YOU HEAR A LITTLE OF THE EXHAUST OR ALMOST NOTHING AT ALL?

I had heard a rumor that many of the early muffler rattled due to the valves. Does anyone know if this issue has been resolved?

Just found this thread, that video is pretty accurate of what it sounds like, actually.

We had a run (one of the first ) of where the spring inside (not stiff enough) was in the wrong muffler, costly mistake for sure. A lot of old school muscle car guys are running these now a days. They usually are cat free and cammed out, they have told me that they hear a "tink" once in a while but for them when they cruise they love how it is quiet inside.

drone free

this muffler is truly drone free and has a great sound both at idle and WOT. I am changing to a full 3" or would be staying with VT. If anyone is interested in the v8 vt pm me
