Am I right in assuming that you'd pretty much have to cut a box out of your bumper to use the second one, as opposed to drilling 1-5 holes (depending on whether you use 3M tape, instead) for the second?
Is there a difference in viewing angle or anything important like that between the two? Do they both display the guide lines? |
Yes you will have to cut a box out of the bumper, there close on viewing angle 170 for the first one and 150 for the second one.
|
I guess I don't understand how the second one is better?
Doesn't the first one have a larger CMOS a lower lux which makes it more sensitive to low light situations? Also has a RCA connector/smaller for an easier installation? |
The second one comes with the water tight connectors on the out side, so you have them at the pint of the camera and then it comes with a grommet to go in to the trunk and a second water tight connectors as apposed to a RCA jack.
