factory stripes
 

I personally looked at 5 different Camaro's over the weekend that had the factory installed white stripe package's installed at the factory,they were terrible,looked like tons of sand underneath the vinyl,I talked to my dealer's GM and he acknowledged the fact.I also saw two car's that the stipes were dealer installed, like nite & day,smooth as silk,he pay's a specialist to instal these at his cost. My dealer said that only the white stripe package's are factory installed,all other colors are dealer installed.

Cyber grey are factory, but white and cyber are only factory on 2lt and 2ss everything else is dealer. There is a giant thread for stripes under the cosmetic forum.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience. Our has been different. the factoy white stripes on my son's ABM SS are FLAWLESS.

Of course you can always order sans the stripes and go aftermarket.

Screw vinyl. I'll be ordering without stripes and getting them painted on later.

2LT are factory installed? And its not Warranty??? Cuz mine are and have always been crap. And when I looked up the service bulletin it said it was only good for v8 models!:iono: What kind of nonsense is that?
