2013 Seat Covers

We have a 1SS/1LE on the way, and since the car will be a daily driver, it is going to have folks get in and out of it when they are less than......clean! The primary thing I am trying to avoid is getting in the car after being all sweaty and sitting on the cloth seats. Any suggestions in terms of seat covers that will protect the seat from my sweat? I know the 2SS leather would have taken care of this, but the 1LE option was more important to me than the fancy interior, and there was a budget. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated! There are just so many seat covers to choose from!

I don't have a suggestion. But make sure they will work with the airbags in the seats

I had cloth in my Silverado. I bought one of those cheap seat covers from autozone and cut the backrest part off of it. I fitted it over the bottom part of the drivers seat only since that got the most wear. When I took it off two years later the seat looked brand new. I traded that truck on my 1LE and I'm very happy to have leather again.

I have always been of the impression that the manufacturer makes a beautiful seat and putting anything else on it only takes away from what I bought.
Put a nice fabric protectant on it and call it a day. Spills and sweat clean up nicely and a good protectant doesnt cost as much as seat covers.

Which protectant do you recommend? I agree any cover will detract form the appearance.

The dealership offered a lifetime protection pkg of different products for leather, rust, paint, etc. Their products are great and yet its really the warranty you are buying. Designed for the avg joe that doesnt want to polish or clean that often. Apply once and dont look back.
That being said, I made a deal with the finance guy and just bought the leather or fabric protection without the warranty. Then I put it on myself. Heck if the detail guys at the store can do it, so can I.

I've never found a retail version of these products that have a "one application/lifetime warranty" but dlrships offer it.

So that being said, I have used these products on my vehicles for many years and while I dont clean my trucks as much as the camaro, they all look great and Ive never had a failure.

poke around your dlrship and see if someone can hook you up with a bottle for cheap.
