Who knows how the hell they got a car to dyno but it pulled 364hp and 371 lb/ft of torque at the wheels.

Hi every one
Livernois Motorsports made a dyno for the camaro . I hope that will make you feel better after the crappy numbers :mad0259: Here's the video Maybe it's auto trans , not bad at all . :w00t: |
Hmm, I was hoping for a little more like 375... maybe its just the dyno?
|
Well now the question needs to be asked. was that the L99 or the LS3?
|
Anybody know if that was the manual or automatic? If that was the manual, I'm actually a little disappointed. Was expecting closer to 380 for the stick.
|
Thats better then I thought it would be
|
didnt really seem like it wanted to go somewhere like i see on most dyno test....kinda seemed like he was real gentle on it...unless it was automatic...usually during shift changes the car jerks a lil like it wants to take off

Damn!! i was just about to post this! Anyway that is right were rwhp should be estimating a 15-17% drivetrain loss
|
Sounded like a stick, and thats right in line with a 15% drivetrain loss. Looks like the LS3 isnt underrated like the LS1 was. Let the modding begin! :D

Need a merge http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16157

364 is actually two more hp than projected by the supposed percentage lost by a manual (from what others were saying). I'm just happy it's still 120 more hp than my current car. =)
