Long tube headers n axle back borla s type/ attack exaust.....help!!

Hello guys I'm new to this forum
I have a 2010 camaro 2ss manual.
. I been looking at other members post, but have not really found the answer to my question
My question is......if I buy an axle back system (borla) do i need to buy the hi flow cats for my hheaders? Or can the axcle back just conmect to the headers?

I'm confuse on how this works.....

Also what is the function of high flow cats?

If something like this has already bbeen discussed, can someone please post a link.
Thx all help will be greatly appreciated.

The Borla axleback would connect to your factory mid pipe (H-pipe). Which goes connects to your factory cats. You would not need headers or anything else if you just wanted to install the Borla axleback.
If you decide you do want headers.....most long tube systems come with high flow cats or off road connection pipes. Most people choose the high flow cats since it is illegal to not have cats on your car.
High flow cats flow much better then your factory cats. You can pick up 20-25 rwhp with just a set of high flow cats. Solo Performance and a few other companies make high flow cats to replace your factory cats.

I think I got everything there. Hope that helps. Call us with any other quesitons.

With an axle back you have to cut your current exhaust. No big deal, but not quite as easy of an install as a catback exhaust.
