This is technically an autocross event. However we will be hosting it at Grandsport Speedway (~1 mile road course) and utilizing the track there for the autocross course. The idea is to use the road course as the autocross course, but we will add in a few cones to slow speeds down and keep it safe.

This event is sponsored by KP Racing. Pre-registration price per driver is $30.00 (pre-registration ends 9/19/15), Registration day of event or post 9/19/15 is $40. This is cheaper than SCCA events, you will get way more runs, have less corner working and is the best/cheapest way to get on a road course.

Where: Grandsport Speedway. 7575 FM 2004, Hitchcock, TX 77563

Classes:
C1: All N/A V6's and stock Ecoboost
C2: All FI V6's, modified Ecoboost, Bone Stock SS's (non 1LE's) & Bone Stock Mustang GT's (non Boss 302's) *Intake and/or catback exhaust is OK for C2. Any suspension, headers, tune, etc will bump you into another class.
C3: Modified SS's and all N/A 1LE's & N/A Boss 302's
C4: All Z/28's, ZL1's, GT500's and FI SS's,1LE's, Mustang GT's, & Boss 302's

G: All non Camaro's or Mustangs or non HTCC or SATX Club Members

What's at stake? The loser (i.e. the Mustangs) will have to admit defeat and that the Camaro's are faster!

Point System:

Currently our plan is for the top 3 cars in each class to score points for their "team." The "team" with the most cumulative points at the end wins!

Yes & No.

You're technically in G class for the HTCC vs. SATX portion but when points are being determined for the Camaro vs. Mustang side of things you will then be considered in the proper C class.

Well lets hope Pete gets my car fixed by then. I will actually be in town for once.

We are just TWO WEEKS out from this event. As a reminder price goes up to $40 per driver on 12:01 a.m. Saturday September 19th. You can register the day of the event at a price of $40 per driver.

We are making a slight change to the class, If you have an SS (non 1LE) or GT (non Boss) that ONLY has an intake and/or catback exhaust you will qualify for C2 class, any other performance mod (suspension, headers, tune, etc) will bump you into C3. Please review the paid list below and if this change effects you, message me and we will get your class changed. If you have any questions as to what class you should be in, please message me.
