3M Paint Protection Film installed on my **Black Camaro**

What's up everyone. Just got home from the shop literally 30 mins ago. I had the 3M "Clear Bra" Paint Protection Film installed. Like the title states, I own a Black Camaro and I know that a lot of you were interested in seeing how it looks installed on Black Camaro. The coverage that I received includes the entire front Fascia, 12 inches up on the hood, side mirrors and Door edges.

I can say that for a person like me this was the BEST thing I could have done for my car and my personal sanity. I couldnt be any happier. You can't see the lines from a distance and you really need to walk in close and look for them in order to pick them out. The one thread I saw on the board, the guy had it installed on a White Camaro and I couldn't see a thing. Some even questioned if he really had it installed. Those with light colored Camaros it should be a no brainer. I hope my Pictures help those of you out that have been on the fence about making the investment. Especially for those of you that have darker colored Camaros. At least now the board has views of installs on the light cars and now on Black. Also another great thing is that I have a lifetime warranty against Yellowing, Peeling and Bubbling. Anything goes wrong I go back and they redo what needs correction, no questions asked. If you guys have any other questions just let me know.

Thanks Guys. Hasn't been 24 hrs yet but I am very happy with the install. Driving in to work this morning was nice as I found myself not worrying about my front end. As the weeks and months go by Ill be sure to update the thread if I should experience any issues.

how much did it cost you? Also, I've had my black Camaro for about 6 months and I live on a gravel road. I haven't noticed any paint chips on the front, but there is a lot of bug crap on it and it's very hard to get off. I've noticed bugs stuck in between parts of the front fascia that I just can't get out. Do you think this would help prevent that?

Looks great. I love my clear bra on my Camaro. I even had a piece of a tire smack the front end of my Camaro 2 separate times on the freeway. It left the entire front end black and I thought it was done for. I gave the car a nice little 2 bucket Adam's wash and EVERYTHING wiped right off. Its like it had never happened. I am a strong believer that unless you have a garage queen car that getting a clear bra is essential in keeping a car looking great.

$600 Depends on how long the bug remains stay on your cars paint. The faster you tend to it, the easier it will come off. The way I see it, I rather have the Clear bra take all the hits (bugs, rocks etc) than my paint.

Can we get this clear bra done at a dealership?

Yes you can. I decided on getting mine installed from my dealer after speaking with the installer directly. After seeing some of his work on other cars I was sold. Plus I know if anything goes wrong they will replace/reinstall with no questions asked.

I checked out about 5 places in my area and asked a ton of questions. Ultimately my dealer's installer was the one who was the best fit for me. Proximity to home, price, prior work, experience, lifetime warranty (that I know would be honored) etc.

1 last thing with the Dealers, ask them if their installer works on staff or is contracted from the outside. If it is a contracted guy, is it always the same person.

Sorry for the ramble, but I hope this helps you out. Good luck!

I would consider 34 months more than a few!
