The Automobile Festival is an exciting new segment of the Celebration of Automobiles in 2012, featuring hundreds of current and late model vehicles on display in manufacturer- and model-specific groups inside the infield of the famous IMS oval.

American sports, muscle and pony car models invited to participate include Chevrolet Corvette, Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang. Foreign cars will include models from BMW, Porsche, Lotus, Aston Martin, Bentley, Lamborghini, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Lexus, Honda, Volkswagen, Jaguar, Mazda and more.

Rare, exotic and unique marques and models also will take center stage, including DeLorean, Corvair, Mini and Smart Car.

For $50 the Automobile Festival participants will receive parking, gate entrance, dash plaque and the opprotunity to take their automobiles on a lap around the famous IMS oval. This is a newer event -- looks to be a pretty good time for those in the area. I think I'll be there, with the new toy, hope to see others turn out and represent Camaro!!! :headbang:

I agree, but if this picture is legitimate, then it will likely be AWD. RWD is out of the question here, unfortunately.

The 2014 Impala will be much bigger than the accord. Built on the same platform as Cadillac’s upcoming XTS sedan, the full-size Impala will actually be bigger than the current Impala. It will be built at GM’s Oshawa, Ontario assembly plant and at the automaker’s Detroit-Hamtramck, Michigan, facility when it goes on sale next year.

Sorry, this will be a front wheel drive car with no AWD in the foreseeable future.

The car was debut at the NY auto show last week.

There is no Impala Coupe. A lot of Photoshops, but Impala will be sedan-only.
