Sunday Oct 2nd, 2011 10th annual Ft. Adams in the fall car show in Newport, RI.
You don't want to miss this show, it's one of best settings in New England you will find for a car show. Views of Narragansett Bay & Newport Harbor, the Newport Bridge, Sailboats, Cruise Ships, a Historic landmark with roots dating back to the Revolutionary War, and of course... CARS! (It's also where my sigpic was taken) :)

Last year we had 12 NEC5 members in attendance, although it was a bit chilly, it was a great event.

Class "T" is open to all Camaro & Firebird, but what would really be great would be to claim another "Best Club Trophy" before the season ends. Registration fee the day of the show is $15.00 to benefit local charities. They also will be collecting non-perishable food items, if you can donate please do.

Last year the Corvairs took the Best Club Trophy :mad0260: so we need to plan ahead and have a larger turnout!

After the show, take a ride down to the Newport waterfront and see what's going on at the Harborfest, http://www.newportwaterfrontevents.c...-rhode-island/

We will have rally points at Gregg's Restaurant in Warwick, and Newport Grand for those coming in from the East.

Sunday's schedule:
Meet up at Gregg's Restaurant in Warwick at 8:00 AM Sunday, rollout by 8:15.

Newport Grand group should gather there by 8:45.
We will all leave Newport Grand at 9:00 and cruise to the show together.

Note: There is a toll for the Newport bridge if you are leaving from Warwick, so bring the EZ Pass if you have one. Anyone coming from the East, and meeting at Newport Grand can avoid the bridge and toll.

"A" is the Warwick Gregg's rally point.
"B" is Home Depot in North Kingstown (this rally point cancelled)
"C" is Newport Grand
"D" is Fort Adams
"E" is just a reference point to show an alternate route for those heading right to Newport Grand from North, and East of Attleboro, Ma.

A shot of the parade field within the fort, last year they had the import class in this field.
One of the organizers mentioned that due to fact they were full to capacity, they may move more classes inside the fort to this field.

Awww man. I had a great time last year (albeit a little chilly) but I won't be able to make it because we're heading down do Disney World (daughter's first trip).

Every little girl should do that. I love that (granted I was 20 something but, you are never to old to get your picture taken with Cinderella man :))

Yeah you do. If I was to take a photo with Cinderella that shit would be creepy. Anyways I'll noncommit to this only because its the day after dads birthday so I never know what we are going, but I'll try making this one this year.

Ill be there early this year. Last year I thought I could just swing in after Church :yikes: Apparently, I will have to get there around 9:30 AM so I'm there in time so I can actually register this year :mad0260:

If you don't have a decal and are going to the show PM me and I can set it up so You can buy them from me at the show. I haven't done a run in a while and I know like 2 people PM'd me a while back but I need more interest than that to justify a run.
