Ipf s/c kit tune

Hello everyone , i'm planning on getting the ipf s/c kit before the end of the year but the one thing i still can figure is how the tuning is done.Do i have to mail my ecu for tuning, a handheld and tune are sent with kit or do i have to pay extra for handheld and email tunes.:confused0068:

Thanks.

The kit contains a hand held flash unit that you or your installer connects to a computer to down load an appropriate tune based on your mods. You then connect to your obd port and flash to the ECU. The current flash module doesn't data log, but you can monitor by external then contact IPF and they can post a modified tune for you to flash. You then can send the flash unit back to get a down payment back or purchase the unit. If you intend on more mods I would purchase the unit.

Then again, I see you have an LFX. You have the option of using HPTuner to do the final tune. The IPF canned and tweaked tune has been good as many have shown. But if you want a live dyno tune HPT has a tuning suite for your ECU. So you might want to invest in that instead of buying the IPF flash. Just and option.
