Stock fuel rail and fuel line limits
Anyone have a decent number for stock rail and line limits? I'm trying to figure out if I'm out of pump or if the lines just can't support any more flow. I'm running the stock in pump with the dsx/walbro 255 auxillary, and draining down to 40psi up top. I'm debating going up to a 400+ pump for the auxillary, or running 2 aux pumps, but I know it wouldn't be worth it if the lines and rails just can't support it. If they won't, then I'll go just eat it and go return setup with an aeromotive in tank, a big pump in the aux spot, and new lines and rails.

In my opinion, your setup should be good as listed in your mods. Is your tune set up properly to take advantage of the aux pump? I wouldn't expect a drop down to 40.

I should mention this is 30% E in the tank.
As far as I can tell it's set up right. I added the aux pump after running out of fuel with 10% lower, intake and headers/exhaust. It worked great, even with 50% E, usually keeping around 50% IDC with the 1050's, and pressure would drop to 60ish with commanded 70 (which I thought was kind of odd at the time). Then I did the porting and 2.38 upper and now pressure is dropping to 40psi with 125% IDC. So no more runs until I get this sorted out lol I'll attach the tune file in another post from the laptop. |

I posted in your thread over at hpt.

I did 659 whp with stock rails and lines.

Just 2.55 upper pulley, cam, LSA, ZL1 pump and ADM FPCM. Many changes since then. Currently 750+ whp. |
Now I'm really curious what power I'm really at if I was actually maxing out the stock pump. I really need to get my own dyno lol

Swap out to a 2.55 upper and 9.5 lower. |

I ran out of fuel with the stock rails around 800 whp. Destroyed a piston and my block.
