P. Ham's IOM (Int. & Ext.) Auto 2LT RS w/ GFX

Here is my current mod list. I don't anticipate going too far as I don't have the neccessary skills. The most customizing I have ever done on a car is window tint. This list will be an on going plan or wish list I can add to or check off. I'll see how far I can go.

Exterior:
Custom paint job - DONE! (Thank's to Womack Chevrolet and their awesome paint & body shop. See pics below)
  • Orange front bow tie
  • Black back bow tie
  • Black hood spears
  • Black side view mirrors
  • Black door handles
  • Black front fascia
  • Black spoiler
  • Black GFX
  • Black tail lights
  • Black side signal lights

Gill vinyls - 2 different sets combined. STARTED! I put the first set on.....still need to do the second set. Not sure I like it...:(
New Spoiler - NLP - DONE!
New Wheels - Something with chrome and black (similar to GM's 21" upgrade)
Custom Plates (Time Me) - DONE!
Custom License Plate Frame - Cheap black one for 8 bucks - DONE!
License Plate Light - DONE! from AAC. Really bright!
Front License Plate Mounting Solution - Probably do zip ties
Dual color changing LED turn signal bulbs - v-leds.com or Stealth Bulbs - StealthAuto.com (Decided to hold off. I like the subtle color difference in the front.)
Sequential Turn Signals - DONE! from Web Electric. Easy install. Looks great!
Emblems
....
Interior:
Red/Amber Dome/Trunk Light - DONE! RED from AAC. Wish it was brighter but can't expect much with the color red. Still cool!
Gas Cap Caddy - GasCapCaddy.com
Emblems
....
Under the hood:
Exhaust - MRT 2.0 - DONE!

Very nice!!

Well done. Very clean and it really pops with out getting gawdy... I know you have a V6 so I can't say what the SLP LM II will sound like, but I am very happy with my results. With your Gfx it may not matter much from the "look" anyways.

Just ordered the Red LED conversion kit and the Bright License Plate LEDs from AAC. I also order the sequential lights from Web Electric (I don't care I like em!). The problem is they are presents so I have to wait until Christmas to install. :( I was going to go for the amber LEDs but I didn't want to chance it looking dull and dingy. Hopefully the red will still work with IOM.....if not I can always go back to stock or go bright white LEDs on the dome lights.

Thanks. I was a little worried it would turn out gawdy but was pleasantly surprised. And I know I wont get anything near the sound your V8 has but if I can get just a little more growl out of her I'll be happy.

Just installed the first set of gill vinyls from Auto Trim Designs. I still need to install the second set of gloss black accents I found on eBay. Maybe do them tomorrow if weather is ok. Hopefully the second set will line up right.

Just doing some quick photoshops of the NLP spoiler. Trying to see if I'll like it.

I just pulled the trigger on my new license plate.....after a very looooong list of crappy possibilities. I'm happy with this one.

IOM :)

Installed the red LEDs in the dome and trunk. They're bright (as much as red can be) but not as noticeable as I'd like outside the car. It makes the IOM interior pop. Looks good though and goes well with IOM which I was worried about. Glad I didn't go with amber. It would have been too dark.

License plate lights are really bright. They glow bright behind the car!

Installed the sequential lights. I think they look really cool! Very easy install.

Just got a call today that my custom plates are in. Need to go pick them up.

what are the tail light blackouts, how do they work (can u see velcro etc?) thanks.

P. Ham 12-29-2009 10:43 AM

Two coats of black paint on the tail lights. No stick-ons.
