What would you do?

I'm at the point where I think I want to go forced induction, but not sure which route to go. I've read some articles where long tube headers get along with superchargers and think that's the route I want to go but then I see a video of a twin turbo Camaro and think that's the route to go. So what's easier or what do you recommend to do with my setup?

Parts that I assume will factor into the decision:
Circle D 3200 stall Torque Converter,
ADM transmission cooler,
Vararam tune intake,
GPI modified LS3 intake manifold,
BoWhite PTB,
ARH long tube headers 3" x 1-7/8" catless with xpipe,
TSP VVT3 cam and ported heads,
SLP 160 Tstat,
NGK TR55 plugs,
ZL1 3.73 differential,
DSS 1-piece aluminum drive shaft,
and 1400HP rated DSS axles.

A complete list (these plus suspension) of mods can be found in my garage.

I hope that didn't come off dickish. That wasn't my intent. I only left those parts out in the original post as I didn't think it'd affect supercharger or twin turbo kits.

Not at all. I'm an asshole anyways. So nothing much phases me.

Personally I chose the SLP TVS be said of the immediate tq. Partially because aesthetics.

I knew I wanted positive displacement.
And I knew this kit was designed to low profile and fit under my 1LE brace.

Also I'm a bit of a SLP brand whore. Before the 1LE I had an 02
35th aniversary SLP SS.

Sweet, one less hurt feelings report the admins get to fill out.

AGP Turbo 05-11-2016 05:03 PM

You already have the long tubes and stall. ECS

Your headers would have to come off to go TT. If you want the car to be quieter and more of that exotic car sound then change all that around and go TT.

Nice! Before this Camaro I had a stock 06 Monte Carlo LT... It was blue... I think this Camaro does more than make up for that.

Thank you for your input. I'm reading into the ECS now. This isn't something I'm thinking of doing right now, but maybe when I finish paying the car off this year. Or maybe when I have a stressful day at work, we'll see whichever comes first.

Unreal 05-11-2016 05:22 PM

Up side would be you could get good money back for the headers, and the people who switched from Centris to TTs like the extra 200+ftlbs of torque down low and ease of control.

All comes back to end goals/budget/etc.

hammdo 05-11-2016 05:32 PM

Hey guys, seems like we've been here before ;o)...

What Nick and the others said. Its VERY important to know budget and goals in order to choose. You've already gone down the mod track, and it appears you're wanting more power. Research is your friend. Lots of experienced folks here who've done the mod, and then re-mod ;o)
