Not a Camaro, but a LFX Miata
I have been running a 1993 Miata since 2011 as a track toy. It has been going through alot of racing progression over the years until the engine blew about a year ago. Then I did alot of research on to what engine to replace the stock 1.6L engine. I found a LFX, which was cheaper and lighter than other options. The engine and drivetrain is about a 40lb increase over stock. I have a 2014 engine and a 2013 6 speed going in.
I don't know what thread I should post my build to share my stuff and get some input from you guys. |
Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

I shall watch this with interest... I'm inclined to do something similar. I put a 60 degree 3.1 V6 in an MGB once and I bet the LFX would work also in small cars.
Good luck! |
