Best paint scheme or wrap for the Z/28
3 Attachment(s)
Has anyone here seen a really cool wrapped or paint scheme for the Z/28?
I'm looking for something that is cool, unique, but doesn't make me look like a nerd or 16 year old. I love race car paint schemes, but that type of scheme is just too much for an everyday car. I need to seem somewhat professional. |
Mat blue wrap wo7ld be sweet. Ive also seen a new product online that is a spray on removable coating that looks like paint, is shiny like paint. Then you always have plasti dip.

why Chevy didn't also include the classic Z/28 colors for 14 and 15 is beyond me. I have seen pics of a member here that wrapped his blue. Looked amazing.

I am getting ready to wrap my Z. Should be done in the next 2 weeks. I have reservations about wrapping it but figure I can take it off if I hate it. I plan on keeping the car for a long time so I might as well use it to promote my business for a couple years.
What do you guys think of the wrap? I included a couple pics of the car just for fun. I installed the wickerbill, tow hooks, and stone guards this weekend so it looks a little different. |

Not a fan of the swish... and the front and back being two colors. Also I like white space so people are drawn into reading versus lost in colors. I would put the franchise and contact info on the rear bumper so when people sit in traffic than can read it. I would put you Name above door like a race car. Not seen in the example I created below, but I would put the H1 on hood (at an angle) and back bumper like race car numbers. Again just my 2 cents.

 I like it!

I went to a reputable wrap place in New York who said just as a warning if you leave the wrap on for an extended period of time it will effect the paint. If I remember right he said it will create a halo or shadow.
I had a car that I left a removable vinyl meatball number on for about 2 years. I removed the meatball to sell the car and it did leave a mark the shape of the meatball. The paint looked foggy in that area. I buffed it out and was able to bring some of the paint back to life but only 50% of it. |
