Something similar happened to me when I went to get my first estimates. First place was strictly insurance work and would not quote the stripes getting painted cause it would take too long and the second place had a secretary from hell. She was giving me so much chin music, I walked out on her in mid conversation.

Does no one understand common customer service anymore?!?

Dude, you seriously need some luck to come your way. I'm sorry to say it but reading this thread makes me feel a bit better about the BS I'm going through with mine.

As I said above, where is customer service??

Be glad it's only a paint job!
Good luck getting it fixed correctly. And learn from your mistakes.
It's to bad shops get away with f"@&ing up shit with no recourse.

If I were to make a Facebook page (as much as I hate Facebook - it is effective) would you guys be willing to Like it? You don't actually have to "like" it - I just need large numbers on it.

I would 'like' it if I had a Facebook page.

malave7567 06-12-2012 01:27 PM

I had a horrible time with body work on my last sports car and its the reason I'm even in a camaro now. I really hate to hear stories like this. I've liked the Facebook page and hope for the best.

I have always been under the impression that Wagonworks was one of the best body shops in the country. They supposedly fix all kinds of exotic cars from the local luxury dealers. When I was last there they had 2 V10 R8's in the cage. (Not exotic but close enough)

I took my G35 coupe there and my CR-V and everything was always perfect. I always considered myself lucky that such a great shop was near me, I only take my cars to the best shops.

I have been to so many other body shop is the area over the years and was usually disappointed with the final product.

I remember hearing great things about D and V Autobody in Dulles next to where Function Tuning used to be. You may want to check them out.

I did not know Wagonworks was under new management. Now I don't know what to think about them.....

Excessive bashing.
Accecptable if your a Moderator. Not if your just another member.
I write a post about mr experiences and its only up for a day.
This thing is crazy.

RedVictory 06-13-2012 11:56 AM

I have to know how this ends

Let me know if you find a better shop in the area

Its different if youre discussing a forum sponsor, youll get yanked immediately. Try steering someone to an item a other than a sponsors and watch the vanashing act.

The issue has been resolved. Legally I cannot comment further AA to the terms of the compromise. If your post was removed it was because you quoted me in some capacity. Please don't take it personally.

RedVictory 06-14-2012 07:21 AM

So....... Would you still trust them for future work?

o come on...give them a 2nd chance!

RedVictory 06-15-2012 10:10 AM

What body shop will you use now? Wagonworks was supposedly the best, based on what I've heard D and V is a close second.

Kaylee is currently at D and V Autobody. And from how they've handled everything the past week or so I highly recommend them.

RedVictory 06-21-2012 08:54 AM

That's good news

Let me know how it turns out, i always like to keep a good body shop on standby
