Anyone in Richmond?
 

Hello everyone! This is only my second post on this site so please be nice to me. :) My husband and I have ordered a 2SS/RS CGM w/black racing stripes from Patrick Chevrolet in Richmond. We live in the country (Goochland County) so we don't know many people in the area. Is there anyone here that lives in or near Richmond? Do you all ever have any get together's? I'm trying to educate myself as much as possible on the maro so I don't look like an a$$ when I drive it and someone asks me a question. LMAO!!

I'm hoping we have the car before the end of this month. Our event code is 3800 so we will see.

Anyway, just wanted to say hello and introduce myself!

Welcome, Kdway! Good luck in getting your Camaro. There are a few VA-based Camaro Clubs. This would be a good place to s tart. See web site at http://www.americancamaro.org/club.php for a list. I'm with the MD Camaro Club and we do some combined events with one of the clubs in Northern VA.

That's awesome classicz! We are right off of 64 so not too far from you! :) I see that you have a 98 SS, or "did" you have one? My husband had a 96 SS that we had to sell when our first daughter was born. :facepalm: I have never stopped feeling bad about it so I'm hoping the new one will ease some of the pain. :wub:

Yeah still have all of the cars listed, will prob. sell the 98 when I get my 2010 2ss, garage only holds three. That sucks you had 2 sell your other car but you guys will have fun with the new one;)

Just north of Richmond here (Hanover).
I'm a while away from getting a new one. As it is, I'm still looking for one on the streets around here. I haven't even gone to any of the dealers round here yet to see one (just the car show...).

There have been 2 in Chester @ the Hardees cruz in on Sat. nights.

Where is this Hardee's cruz in you speak of classicz? :) We just got the news today that our camaro shipped on 6/12!!! I am freaking out! :happyanim:

Im about 20 min south of richmond...and been to the Hardees in Chester on several occaisions.

Im currently at 4B00. Glad to see theres some locals here!

We're in the Chester area too. There is also a cruise at the Iron Bridge Sports park every Friday, Hardees is Saturday night, Route 10 at 95.

The pictures are awesome!!! :w00t: We got a call from our dealer on Saturday and our car has been Rail ramp unloaded in Petersburg as of Thursday night!!! :happyanim: Now we have to wait on a freakin' truck to bring it to the dealer! UGH! :mad0259:
