Stock SS Wheels Finally Widened and ON!

10 Attachment(s)
Hey guys, so I finally got my widened SS wheels on my '10 Camaro 2SS. I got them done by Eric Vaughn who must have done a great job since they didn't need much weight at all to balance them. Anyways here's some pictures, sorry only iPhone for now. I'll bust out my DSLR later and take some better ones. Let me know if you have any questions! Thanks.

I like it! What was the da grinding on your brake rotors for?

I would assume that was to remove the unthreaded tips from the factory wheels studs. If you don't grind them, they'll stick through the adapter/spacer and hit the back face of the wheel.

What size adapter is that?

Oh that's right. I had to do that for the spacers I had on a 4X4 a few years ago.

That looks killer.

Yeah the grinding is for the unthreaded part on the studs. I got Toyo's 315/35/20 in the back and 275's up front. The spacers are from ADM performance and I'm not 100 percent on the size but i believe it's 22mm? I also put some spacers on the front that are like 1/4 inch but I'm debating on if that's large enough.

ADM's spacer is 25mm. Since you're running a 25mm spacer, I'm assuming you had you factory front 20x8" rims widened then the factory rear 20x9" put in front?

I'm so clueless with the numbers of tire and wheel talk.:sm0:But the car does look good, I must say. Especially the pics in the garage by the air machine. That's hard right thurrr !!!!! :headbang:

Yeah that is what I did. I don't think you can notice the dish size difference that much on the car since the wheels are powder coated black. I will say that there is a huge difference in how it drives now. I've always had a problem with the way the car tracks especially on the freeway. You always had to do a lot of correction just to keep the car straight. Now it feels a lot more stable and you can just kinda hold the car in the direction you want to go and it goes that way. The front end feels tighter and less "light" for lack of a better word.
