Moving to Glendale AZ area
 

Looking for info on the west Phoenix area (job at Luke AFB) and of course Camaro/car gatherings. Not afraid to drive to events, drove 2 hours to El Paso when I lived in NM.

There are several clubs here in the valley - all have their Pros and Cons.

Right now I have the following recommendations:

1) Car club = Arizona Camaro Club (Facebook)
2) Anything Performance related = www.cordesperformanceracing.com (Mesa, AZ)
3) Anything appearance related = Elite Automotive Finishes (Mesa, AZ)

Camaro night at Scottsdale Pavilions every 2nd Saturday of the month.

Best Camaro Club, like he said, Arizona Camaro Club. They put together at least 1 or 2 events a month and host the Camaro Night at Pavilions.

Well, I am not in AZ yet. We won't get there until the end of the month. So right now I get to enjoy the high 90's and 90% humidity here for another few weeks. I will need to find some place that can clean up the Z until our household goods get shipped in. I will be working at Luke, so some place closer to there would be great. Thanks for the info so far.

Well, we made it here to Luke AFB last Saturday, just in time to get hit with a storm while trying to unload our stuff into TLF. I thought we left the rain in FL! Looking for the rain to quit so i can get out to some of the local events around the Phoenix area.

This isn't your back east rain... wait till your first Dust Storm that is followed by a thunder storm. No lie bro, they will overlap and for a while it actually rains mud.

Sad but true story, but then again, come Thanksgiving and Christmas and you can still get in the pool - you won't even think about Indiana except to rub yours friend's face in it because they will start calling you in three weeks and talk about everything but the weather for 15 minutes. When it finally does come up, there will usually be snickering, laughter and you might even hear the weather channel in the back ground HAHA.

Remember, revenge is a dish best served - when THEY are cold :)

Any advice on PDR? Looking to get a couple of dings taken out.
