so what the deal with the availability of the color white on the camaro. when will it be available and why are they delaying that one color?

why would white be delayed if it now surpassed silver as the most common color :bonk:

THe Camaro website shows it as Interim availability. I recall seeing somewhere that it won't be available until possibly the summer.

I personally don't understand why either. I have a white SS convertible and would have thought it would be a rather mundane color to offer at the start.

Actually, I like white cars. They tend to stand out to me.

yeah they said it wont be available until July, not sure why though.

The pink girlie is correct. :) No rhyme or reason, it just is. Like the HUD. You want white, you have to wait for it.

Best lookin 'Maro I ever had was 84 with red skunk stripes and red/orange rocker stripes, red/orange interior. Any of you 3rd gen guys have pics of a white 84 with the red tri-color seats that said...

Rumor has it that the pace car for the 2009 Indianapolis 500 will be the 2010 Camaro in white with orange stripes, and GM is holding off on offering white until afterwards, to make the pace car stand out more.

^^^ That would match my 30th anniversary car (and of course the 69 Z10/Z11 plus I think they had some in 92? with that combo)! It's a great color combo and it's hard to miss.

Afterwards being Summer. :wave:
