Mr. Behan,

the 160 IAT2 seems like it is up there. cant to the math right now but Im sure that there are easy ways to get it down. How big is the reservoir on the zl1 for the intercooler. Im sure you guys are already thinking about that kind of stuff.

Just looking at the DA and a decent track at sea level and you would be right around 10.8 or better. Add in pulling a 1.5 60 10.7ish and drop the IAT2 down and you are adding even more hp to the equation. That looks pretty good to me.

Im sure the tune is under lock down but do you feel you guys are being aggressive with the timing or just running the fuel to be safe?

thanks for answering my questions, unfortunately I have to wait till my13 before I can start to look at all the data on my own.

Yes 160 iat 2 is excessive, the intercooler on the ZL-1 has less fin density than a CTSV, but better routing of thecooling medium and increased pump flow help it out, as you rightly say there are several easy fixes, lets see what the coming weeks bring.

Think what the ZL1 is showing is that the SS is a great value, slap 30k worth of mods (price difference between the 2) in an SS and you got something putting out 9s/ high 8s. Though that magnetic ride is quite nice and maybe the aerodynamics aren't BS, though is it really worth 30k to have the zl1 as a starting point to mod rather than the SS.

High 8's?

Really?

Does your "Strong MAF" mod help you with that?

Please post more. You are very entertaining.

Most impressive thing imo is the trap speed. With a killer 60 foot that should be close to mid 10's.

30k difference??? I must be looking in all the wrong places...I don't think I've ever seen a new SS MSRP for $25,000.:iono:

Thats what I thought. Thanks for the info. Can tell theres alot left in the car before the blower has to be pulled off. Makes me nervous that the wifes car could be faster than my 03 cobra with minimal mods. If all for fun anyways

Throwing 30k in a SS will not get you in the 9's for sure not in the 8's

oh I have a million but I will limit them hahaha. What did GM have the car setup to run at WOT in the AFR dept? This is making me even more anxious for the car.
