16.2 lbs!!!

I'm early this week, because I'll be out of
town for my usual Wed weigh in. I'm on a
plane headed for New York. Can you guess
where I'm going?

See you all next week!

Another good week for you. I'm so glad this is working, it shows your commited to it and that's the biggest step.

No clue where you're heading, any hints?

The NY auto show, isn't that this week??

Great job Becky! I'm down to 238. From 250. Roughly sitting at 18% with calipers.

I am aiming to hit 215. It will be a challenge

driyac, awesome man sounds like it's definitely working for you, I think I'm around 12-14% and dropping below 10 is a task, but well worth it in the end.

How tall are you to be that lean at 215? I'm 5'9" and my Goal Weight is 145, granted I'm not the biggest guy in the gym, but I'm by no means small

Becky - 16.2 that is AWESOME! I bet you feel like a million bucks! I'm very proud of you girl!

As for me. Adding cardio back into my routine, 2-3 days a week on top of 4 days of crossfit. Eating pretty darn clean (might eat a little too much fruit but its addictive and I'm trying to tackle that) and drinking about 80oz of tea/water a day. About 50 days till I'm on the beach! Woot!

Fast update ---- No change this week and I'm good with that!! It was
a quick trip to New York and it's always a challenge to eat right when
you are out of your element. I didn't go over board, but it was more than
I would have normally eaten.......then come Easter. My sister and I made
brunch for 6 of us and can't say there were alot of good choices - yummy
but not at all part of a clean diet. So back on track, working out hard
and looking for another pound next Wed:)

Thanks for listening as always

That's ok. You are alowed to live a little. When you eat healthy for the most part you can indulge once in a while and not have to feel guilty.

Cfd, the carb cycling is def helping out. Ending with fiberous carbs helps. I cut out eating sweet potato more than once because it just does not fill me up. Sticking with rice twice, swt potato once and then broccoli/ mushrooms/ carrots steamed (asparagus every once in a while)

Down to 234.6 through 25 days. A total of 15 to 16 pounds.

Only 20 more to go haha!

I've found that carb cycling and carb tappering to be the most effective way to loose body fat without sacrificing energy levels needed for weight training. Unfortunately muscle gaining and fat loss take two opposite strategies but by utilizing carb cycling/tappering you can do both at once but the gains/losses are not as drastic as when focusing on one or the other.

I am Currently down 20.5 pounds... Ill take it.

Ran 7 miles today, I was surprised I could still run that much. Thought that not running long distances would hurt my abilities but apparently walking 5 miles a day will keep you good.

midnighter 04-10-2013 05:25 PM

I speedwalked 12 miles today with 7 steep hills in the mix. Dropped 6 lbs of backed up crap food. I am on my way back to getting in shape. I just need to drop 15 lbs and I am good. I dropped 83# last year in about 7 months.

I have gained about 25# since Nov 2012 but don't plan on getting down to 155# again for I was looking too skinney. 165# is my goal weight. I am currently 180# now.
