I know I'm terrified when I see them...........

all they need is a turbo and a little work. Look up the Crawford Performance BRZ lol. That is pushing the limits of the little 2.0 boxer
|
Lol! Crap!the scion is nothing more than an updated Celica.

Funny enough I drove an FRS today - Mama was gonna trade her baby in for newer model so I thought I grasp the moment.
First to tell you the outcome - my CAMARO sooooo much better. I am a 6'3" big ass dude with a size 16 shoe size. I step on both pedals a lot of the time. Nice little engine a maybe zippy because it is a smaller car but still WTF small. |
The FR-S was more fun to drive than the BRZ however that's possible. More fun than the Camaro too. Less power than my 2LT, smaller and cost more too insure. But fun as hell to drive. I prefer the appearance of the BRZ over the FR-S. I think the BRZ I tested was defected. I know they had some issues. Camaro will probably handle Cleveland winters better. That was a big factor for me. The Camaro is sexier. But some times I still think I should have went for the BRZ(not the one I tested). It suits my driving style and personality better than a big heavy automatic.

I have seen a few running around. A lot of people give them great reviews as a fun, cheap coupe. Most of the reviews I have read indicate with a SC or TC and brake upgrade, they could give an SS and run for its money...

OP they are much slower. They handle extremely well though. They are aimed more at sports coupes like miata and the now dead solstice. |

Yeah, this car wasn't designed to be a quarter mile monster, it was designed to be fun to drive. Quote:
The car was designed from scratch from the ground up. It has nothing in common with the Celica. |
Celica? What part? Lol Those cars were made to revive the "import tuner" scene.
