1997 30th Anniversary Z28 Production numbers

I'm looking to get a Dash Plaque made and would like some help with Production Numbers .. I've Googled and searched but came up with 4- Different sets of numbers .. Not looking for SS numbers Just Z28 ...any help would be Great !!

Here is what I have found so far ..

The Camaro Registry list - 3476

Motor Trend 1997 list - 4533

LS1Tech.com list - 3299

Even got a reply on face book as to these numbers .. = 4300

Ok, here's the #'s for the 30th Anniversary Edition Z28.. Not the SS.. Z28 only. The RPO code will show (Z28) & (Z4C). So first off: There were 1497 M6's & 1802 A4's in coupe/t-top. And 317 M6's & 684 A4's in the convertible. Again these are the Anniversary Special Edition Z28's, not the SS. Look for the Z4C code to verify the special edition model.

why the wheels aren't white? i've seen some with white .. chrome was the option or white?

bee sting 06-30-2014 10:04 AM

Yes the chrome was a upgrade option . Been asked that a few times at shows and I have the window sticker to show people that as well.. these wheels are coming off this weekend anyway . I put them up for sale on my local Craig's list and bought some C5 Z06 chrome wheels with Nitto 285 on back and 255 on from . I'll post when they're installed.

97' 30th Anniversay W/ Digital Odometer

This might be the place to get an answer. I have a 97' 30th Anniversary Z28, T-Top car with manual transmission and full leather seats. Something interesting that I have never been able to get an answer for as of yet and have only seen 2 or 3 others across the internet with the same thing. EVER!

The car has an ANALOG odometer and not the red digital one. No one that I have ever spoken to can explain it.

Vin #2G1FP22P5V2103831. Car was ordered very early and delivered at the end of August 1996. I have all the paperwork. I also only have 1400 miles on it total. The 5th Gen sees all the drive time.

Can Anybody Help or Explain the digital odometer.

Thanks,

Len.

Simply put, all the very early 1997 Camaro production models came with the analog odometer.

Also, some of the very early 1997 Camaro SS cars came with the 1996 version air box frame that read "Z28 SS". This was then changed to read "Camaro SS".
