Hey Shawn, hope you got out with a level of retirement money for that injury that was fair... I've got a lot of buddies that had to fight the gov't for an appropriate percentage for service related injuries.

As for the original thread topic, welcome and congrats! I can't wait to get mine (waiting on the convertible, many, many years now.)

As for me, also an 0311! I was in 1/9 and 2/1, Golf Co. out of Pendleton. 92-96.

Ooh-rah to my fellow devildogs on the forum!!! Another reason to love this car is the brotherhood on the forum among owners!!! Don't be a stranger and definitely post those pics!

True dat. They replaced that 6.0 pretty quick after having so many issues with it. They should've just went back to the 7.3 and continued to refine/beef it. I'm sure it would have responded well to the twin turbos. My father got one of the last years of production w/ the 7.3 and still has it/loves it. I'm a Cummins man though. Had an 01' and an 05'.

Yeah that Cummins is a bad dude aswell. I have had a couple of them also. I just think the Allison tranny seperates Chevrolet from it's competitors. I have always said a Cummins and an Allison is a diesel mans dream!
