Cool. Have a bow tie project I'm working on and trying to see how a couple of different methods play out.
I can pick it up from you the next meet you're at.

We always stop at the Pirates House restaurant in Savannah when heading South on 95. Just can't pass that place up when we are nearby.

Traction will be an issue. The kids keep laying marks all over the garage floor pulling it out. Just too much power for the tires it has.:sm0:

Sounds like it's time for Drag Radials for it...

habunow1 07-18-2014 08:30 AM

If they are getting wheel hop or traction issues on launch it maybe time to do some suspension mods to get all that power to the ground.

Yeah, frame mounted straight axle isn't doing it any favors.
Actually sourcing mountain bike shocks for some ideas.

mmarx82 07-31-2014 09:24 AM

mpiersd 08-02-2014 08:10 PM

Hey guys. I'm back with an SS now! Looking forward to the next meet

DenaliR1 08-04-2014 08:44 AM

Did any one go out yesterday?

mpiersd 08-04-2014 10:25 AM

Not sure if anyone showed. A few were out of town and there are a few that won't bring out their Camaros for threat of rain.
Look forward to September, maybe.

DenaliR1 08-04-2014 10:27 AM
