What offset do I need for aftermarket wheels?
When purchasing aftermarket wheels (20x9 and 20x10.5) what offset should I be looking for so that the wheels / tires are flush with the fender. Close enough to look good, but not close enough to need to cut or roll the fenders.
The ones I was looking at are 20mm in the front and 40mm in the rear. |
new here.. been searching and this came up.. would also like a little info.. have a set of 20x9 35mm and 20x10.5 42mm sitting in the garage i was thinking of trying

I have 20x10.5 305/35/20 on rear with 38 offset and fronts 20x9 275/40/20 with 20 offset. Ferrada FR2. No need of fender roll and no rubbing. No issues at all.

Agreed. The 1LE wheel specs of 20x10 +23 front and 20x11 +43 rear are a great starting point. That is what I run now (MRR 017 wheels) and the fronts stick out a slightly more than I’d prefer. That being said, the handling is amazing! Running 275/40/20 fronts and 295/40/20 rears. Not even close to rubbing but not lowered, either. Flame me over the 40s, I’m ready for it! :happyanim:

if doing a 20x9 /20x10.5 I would say 25et front /38et rears.

I wish there were a sticky on what fits and doesn't fit. I too have searched and never find anything exact, and the info I come across is always kinda of not complete, leaving me with more questions.

Hi Guys,

I am lowered with KW V3 coilovers but I can change the height. Wich setup is the best for no rubbing issue? Thank you  |
