Transformers Camaro parts available from GM
Just saw these on the GM parts website

Well, there you go. DIY Transformers edition. The wheel center caps are kind of cool. :)
|
We think using all the parts is a little tacky, but the console is cool.
|
I might do the console for a small touch, and maybe the wheel emblems, definaitely don't want the emblems on the quarter panels.
|
That is so gay that they are putting that on a yellow camaro and claiming it is the "transformers" edition, if its not the yellow/orange-ish paint color with the hood then its just another yellow camaro.

I do like the door sill plates

The center console is cool. Very subtle. I just might have to do it. I wonder how much though?
|
My guess is $125.

I second camaro outlaw's take. What a joke those emblems are. Give us the real deal.

Im gonna have to disagree - flame all you want
I think the center console and wheel caps are a nice touch - nothing too flashy and it pays homage (sp?) to the movie I think the side emblems are WAY too big though... if they made them 1"x1" then maybe I would think about putting them where the GM logo is.... just my .02 |
Actually guys while it has been long debated and I don't exactly like the $1000 for some emblems, it is being advertised as TRANSFORMERS Edition, not a BUMBLEBEE Replica which is a big difference. We all know its not close to the real bumblebee but I'm sure that it will sell and one day might even be worth a little more. there are numerous reasons its not a Bumblebee Edition, paint, fascia etc... All that would be a $10,000 option not a $1000.

does it have some sort of special numbering or plaque on it?
|
There is a big thread with the details but I'm fairly sure they are only offering a certain window for ordering it. And it won't be available forever.
