Carbon Fiber Roof Holdup

Take this with a grain of salt, but from what I have been told from my salesman is the carbon fiber top is on constraint for up to 4 weeks. This is supposedly the reason there are so many orders stuck at 3000. For what it's worth, just passing along info I received.:gossip:

Just a couple of week old, it's all good though, waiting on the same issue:frusty:

I was too stuck all last week guys with this constraint. Then by Friday things changed. 3400 now with VIN # 1530. I just think that they are only getting a small number in at a time.

I ordered the carbon roof option, and have been stuck at 3000 for weeks. My dealer called and told me my car is scheduled for production on 10/21, but that could change. Then I have to wait until the Museum sets up for my delivery there.
The delays are a pain in the butt.

That is why I have vowed to never do a sold retail order again. A vow I always stick to unless you count the several times I have broken it.

Many smiles and do try to enjoy the roller coaster ride. As I often state: one of the most fun and most anxiety provoking rides a person of adult age can experience.

Note: I did not say enjoy I said experience. But enjoy is included!

I think you're on order and just not telling us

Does anyone have the latest on how this constraint on exposed carbon fiber roof is progressing? When will the constraint be lifted?

Who knows, those who do sure aren't talking. Still have a bunch of cars that have been sitting at 3000 for months waiting on the CF roofs.
Hoping this next week brings some good news!

It looks like some of them have moved and show 3400!!!!!
While I am still stuck this is still good news, at least a few are moving now.

:grouphug: Well today turns out to be the day!! If I am right all the original delayed orders for the CF roofs have now moved from 3000 to either 3300 or 3400!!!!
Can't hardly wait to see how they move through the process now. I am hoping later this week the Museum is calling to set up delivery dates. :yikes: :happyanim:

3800 is good news for you... barring any QC holdups, I'd estimate approx 2 weeks give or take a few days.
