Off to Lingenfelter's awesome facility in Decatur, Indiana!
The pic with the Silver Ice Metallic Camaro is the
Lingenfelter 570 that was featured in Road and Track Magazine.
I like to call it the "PAUL2010" courtesy loaner car..... Paul currently
has a 909 RWHP 9.84 second LPE Camaro.

mlee 01-19-2011 06:59 AM

WoW... what a sweet build... See you at C5 Fest!!!

RLHMARINES 01-19-2011 04:32 PM

Great pics!!! That is one beautiful build by LPE!!!:confused0068: You must respect Lingenfelter for their build quality and professionalism when it comes to what they do with an engine.:respekt:

That was one of many reasons I went with LPE ..... changed my mind on builder 4 different times. Even changed to IOM paint 48 hours before locked out. Decided screw the fear of "pull me over" colors and went for it full out

That member with the ghost stripes goes by "mtcwby" - do a search on his posts and you should find alot. We both used the same paint shop in the Denver area.

Angie at Purifoy Chevrolet in Fort Lupton, CO - it's helps to feed them info from Camaro5.
Funny how we all knew more about the Camaros than the sales department before they hit the showroom floors!

Garth

Color, LPE stencil, and design layout are complementary to how my stripe design came out.

Good minds think alike!

Must be why we both own a car built by LPE.:D

Here's a little something special my boys had made for my birthday just around delivery time from Lingenfelter.
It started as a black maglite, then pictures were laser etched. All the pictures document from delivery at dealership,
to completion at LPE, and end cap is actual picture of my OEM rims - with an early club event too.

Very nice build thread Garth!!! It's like a trip down memory lane.:D I'm surprised I didn't notice this till now. I really like your pics from SMS, and the one of you and the 69. It reminds me how mine looked when it had white stipes (before she went dark;)) Keep the pics coming.

Wow, just found out about the Camaro of the week - thanks! :D :D :D
Too bad I don't have pics with the Forgelines yet to post.

Here's a long overdue post of the custom calendar my wife made me with photos of the progression, and some of the Bogarts test fitting (none with skinnys on though). Last set of photos is my upgrade to the Pfadt solid subframe bushings just installed Wednesday by Brian Trembly up in Laramie, Wyoming. Wow, what a difference. :drinking: Brian is a member of the Camaro Club of the Rockies and did my LPE 3.70 gears, plus Janetty Posi fix - awesome work and worth the trip.

Thanks Diana! Found out when a friend called me - just took it out for a spin today to check out the solid subframe mounts. They're great - so glad I talked to Darren after he installed both of yours. I thought they'd be noisy, but hardly any difference and real planted feeling. Tell Darren thanks :headbang:
