91 octane no ethanal or 93 octane with up to 10% ethanal
 

I am about to get a jre tune in a few days. Just wondering what octane I should go with? ethanal or not? Does it help or hurt your motor? Any input would be great.

what is the fuel octane most widely available?

forget the ethanol / non ethanol debate IMPO..

I go 93

it does not mean you cant run 91, just don't beat the snot out of it when you need to fill up on 91, and use 93 as the primary fuel at you're favorite fuel stop

but if 91 is the most highly available fuel then go with a 91 octane tune?

Running 93 or slightly above seems to feel the best.


I purposely add 5 gallons of e85 plus 11 gallons of 89.... puts me right around 93 octane....... computer adjusts and adds more fuel for the ethanol
