Camaro-vanning down with a couple others from Indiana...about a 5.5hr drive

Driving is more fun but trailering more practical. With an NCM track day and two days of drag racing on the schedule, it makes more sense from a support and a “what if it breaks” perspective. It also keeps from having to fold up one of my Son’s and stuff him in the back seat of the ZL1 for 1000 miles. Things change all the time but that’s the plan with 5 months left on the countdown clock.

14.5 hours, 938 miles for me. I will be driving my car as it is the DD.

So my wife and I decided to trailer (enclosed) the car down there. Anywhere to park? Im sure parking lots will be packed... (which is what I am afraid of) We are staying at the Hilton.
From the looks of it (http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showpo...20&postcount=1) we may park in the lot behind the Hilton? looks like a business, but like I said, this is our first time. |

First timer this year and will be bringing a trailer. Is this lot across the way open to anyone there for the fest? I'm assuming first come first serve, any helpful tips from trailer veterans? Looking forward to the weekend.
Thanks |
