Louisiana has got to have the worst highways i have ever driven on, hope yu get a suspension upgrade!!!!

why are they that bad?? youd think that it being detroits city, they might want nice roads...

Or anywhere where there are harsh winters. All the expansion and contraction wreaks havoc on paved surfaces. For example in denver after teh snow storm right before christmas the pot holes began to grow to the point where some were as big as 3 feet wide and 6 to 10 in deep.

I don't know about Michigan, But I live in Wisconsin and the roads are pretty well maintained. We do get the occasional bumpy road, but for the most part they aren't too bad.
However, my brother lives in Mississippi and we (my family that lives here in Wisconsin) usually go down there at least twice a year. I can say without hesitation that those roads are the worst that i can rember ever being on. Bumpy as hell. I can't rember how bad Louisiana's roads are because I haven't been there for several years- well, except when we crossed the boarder to go to a restauraunt last summer, but that's beside the point.

idk the roads here in West Virginia ar epretty well kept up. If ours get bad over winter the state most of the time fixes them when spring rolls around.

If anyone is familiar with Michigan, the stretch of I-94 between Kalamazoo and Battle Creek is one that can not be complained about. Barriers on both sides of the highway and no place for the cops to sit. Straight and few if any bumps. I'm sure that all are aware that a 99 Z-28 redlines at just over 155 mph (limiter off ofcourse). As a paramedic I don't recommend this type of driving, but at 3 am and no other cars on the road, that is one hell of a rush.

No biggie at all. I'm guily as well getting off topic in a few areas, but am just trying to keep that thread clean for the choppers.

u should take a ride in and around philadelphia. it gets an F in my book. its like im on a pogo stick while driving. pot hole after pot hole after uneven surface after more pot holes. Horrible...........

just throw rocky a shovel a bag of concreate and put "eye of the tiger" on and you'll be ready to roll in no time!!

Humm lets see. I live in WV, drive Ohio, PA, MI some Indianna through VA, MD NC, SC, AR KY and GA almost once a year atleast. Couple trips To WI Missouri and IL

WV has more paved roads than michigan. their shit is sick. washboard roads with a specific mud that does NOT wash off in a normal car wash. and a lot of pot holes.
PA has the WORST dot on earth they take forever to finish anything and the moment you hit the PA section of highway you get much more road noise. there are even bumper stickers saying PENNDOTSUCKS!
Certain parts of SC have really bad drivers. and there is always lots of road construction. in the south they have a bit of quartz in their asphalt and it really makes the roads sparkle.
WV gets pot holes but are generally repaired by June. our lines do not show up in the dark at all for some reason and painting is outsourced to a bunch of guys from new jersey. But there are toooo few strait roads to top end your car in most cases.
