Maybe a dumb question about SCT

If I buy an sct from Ted with a custom tune to start with, with the mods my car has does the sct come with software that will allow me to custom tune like hp tuners I'm just new to sct I just didn't know if you can custom tune with an sct or not. Any help would be appreciated

You can do some basic stuff but not as much as with a full tunning software. The SCT is more of a tool.

You need to PM Ted and he will answer any and all your questions.

You would need a Pro-Racer Package to do any real custom tuning. The device is, as mentioned before, a tool. It is used to load tunes on and off the vehicle as well as a link for datalogging. There are a limited number of "User Adjustable Options" that can be applied to a tune on our preloaded files, and can be added to custom tunes at the discretion of the person writing the tunes, but they are rudimentary and are not meant to be used to tune the vehicle for new modifications.. etc.

Just give a ring over to our sales department, I work in the tech department and don't have access to the up to date pricing info.

I will telly you up front that if you are not an experienced tuner/calibrator, our software may not be the best for cutting your teeth on, especially on a system as advanced as the L99 or LS3. There are other softwares out there that offer a little more user-friendly interface, but they do not offer the level of precision that our does, so it's a trade-off. I equate it to the difference in the names.... we offer a PRO-Racer package, not a "Tuner" package... PRO being the keyword.
